I started my journey in evolution 25 years ago when my sister introduced me to The Perelandra Garden Workbook by Machaelle Small Wright. Perelandra, LTD is a Center For Nature Research in Jeffersonton, Virginia. It is a book on how to work with Nature to create a garden. I followed the book listening to nature and i have had success with soil gardens. I learned the importance of all beings in creation from bacteria to plants to animals to humans. I started caring for children in my hame in 2001 with the intention of fostering a love of nature. On this journey I read The Universe Story by Brian Swimme & Thomas Berry. It lead me to Jennifer Morgan’s, The Universe Tells Our Cosmic Story series and I use this as my guiding reference. I do have the Montessori Time lines but I like to start with bacteria as it is so relevant still today.I am hopeful that my infants to five year olds will carry the awe and wonder of Tiamat and the periodic table to the evolution of humans as they do their language, a part of themselves.
