Macmillan has picked up GRANDMOTHER FISH for a major release in September. That means that this fall a major publisher will be trying to get parents to buy an evolution book for their preschoolers. According to the grape vine, there is also another kids’ book of evolution set to release around the same time. On this site, we’ve discussed whether preschool is too early for kids to learn about evolution. Montessori schools, in particular, save this topic until grade school. This year we’ll be able to see for ourselves what the results are like when parents try to teach evolution to their preschoolers. Fingers crossed.
