Hello, i am working hard these days on my Web Portal related to Geolocation and Creativity. It’s a place where i will upload Mobile Learning resources related to the learning and teaching of our Big History.

Check the BETA portal GPS Museum where you will find a reference of two very nice apps built for the visualization of the orbit of the major planets and satellites of the solar system. ( section “Locative Learning” “Celeste” and “Skyview” )
This section will grow up very soon and i will post when i will have new interesting resources for the Deep Time Journey Community 🙂

    best regards
    Fred Adam

    • Thanks for letting us know Fred! What stage is the Walk Through Time app? Is there a version for androids? (I don’t have an iPhone unfortunately.)

    • Thanks for asking Jennifer, the Walk Through Time prototype is on the Apple store but it is not yet the hole 4.6 Byr walk since the formation of Earth, just the first 500 Myr, a 500 steps walk through time and for the moment it is only for iphone: http://goo.gl/atKanZ
Geoff Ainscow is the leader of this project and i hope to continue working on the full walk very soon. I am very excited by the great progress we did and i am trying to give life to more Walking Documentaries to teach very large or very small scales of time and space by the walk, a idea i am following since 2011. I explain on my website http://www.bighistoryapps.org other Smartphone apps projects similar to the Walk Through Time app i would like to achieve for the Big History community and for anybody interested in experimenting such concepts with the body and the mind at the same time. I believe in a hole new potential to teach and learn by the walk.
