I came across an article in the Smithsonian magazine and thought it worthwhile to share it here. It is heartening to see that we are slowly waking up to the debt that we owe to the first inhabitants of the land from whom we snatched it away. There is an embedded video in the article that shows the impact this acknowledgement of history is having on indigenous people today. It is worth a watch.
