Geocaching, it’s about hiding a box somewhere in the countryside and share the coordinates through the internet or a smartphone app. In the case of the Earth Cache, the creator of the cache drives the walkers to a special place to unfold the story from the box, it can be a text, pictures, objects, anything useful to tell the geologic story of the place. We have a good geocaching experience, feel free to ask me if you want to know more about creative practices with Geocaching.
I’ve met people while hiking who were Geocaching. Adding the Story of the Universe to the object to be found is a great idea. Introducing the gaming aspect helps to bring in young people too. Thanks Fred for letting us know about this.
