The sound artist Halsey Burgund creates mobile apps for the recording of a contributory soundscape where people can record their voices, dreams, ideas, memories: http://halseyburgund.com

In 2013 he created ”A Walk Through Deep Time” an auditory layering of ideas from across philosophy, science, and culture which invites you to share your own sense of wonder. http://goo.gl/oog6HE
Some interesting questions are asked where you can reply with your own ideas like: How would you describe how time works ? where does energy comes from ? How can you tell that something is alive ?

    • This looks great Fred. I tried to play the audio but was unable to. I used Chrome as the browser, as it suggests but still had trouble. Are you getting it to work. I wrote to both Tracy and Halsey, inviting them to join the Network. It would be neat for them to join your group. Why don’t you invite them too!!!

    • I didn’t know it was possible to listen and record our voice from your website, i only saw the app. I see like two interesting options for your collaborative voice recording platform. 1. making a recording session at the next IBHA event ( http://ibhanet.org ) , the next one will be in Amsterdam in 2016. 2. inviting the Deep Time Journey community to share their views by recording a voice message and publish the result on a map. I see it as a powerful way to involve people in sharing thinkings in a online community. I am new at the DTJN and i would like to meet people and if i can listen to them it is really easier to understand their motivation and feel them.

      • Dear Trudy,
Let’s have a meeting. I’d like to know more about your ideas for the Network and IBHA. Just as Fred says, this may be a powerful way for people to share ideas and get to know each other in a more personal/immediate way. I’ll write to you by email. Jennifer
