Christogenic Convergence: From Human to Metahuman

In a recent 4-part blog series on the same subject, The Scientific Basis for Christogenesis, including a summary of same herein, the author has submitted further scientific evidence that fulfills the spirit-science vision of Teilhard for our times, consonant with both the advent of the current Christogenic era, and the synthesis map above. Teilhard’s quote beneath the graphic speaks eloquently to his genius in identifying the Omega point where radial and tangential energies, quantum and classical physics, left and right brain, metaphysics and physics, and/or the invisible/visible worlds meet and seamlessly reconcile. The result is an evolutionary synthesis that balances their universal push-pull of forces perfectly, the organic definition of the Eternal Constant (God Omega) or ground in which all physical constants participate, science catching glimpses of the divine through those constants].

Unitive states of consciousness, those converging radial and tangential energy, left and right brain, quantum and classical physics, science and spirituality, reveal that nothing is more spiritual than the natural world, or more natural than the spiritual world, as they are one and undivided. That statement sounds paradoxical (contradictory) to conditioned consciousness whose binary thought processes (separation consciousness) have historically had a stake in their continued separation and divorce. Not so in the current Christogenic era, when both “sides” are challenged to work together via the process of integration and synthesis. Binary thought processes are becoming vestigial, a thing of the past. As binary thinking minds are small minds that cannot see in wholes, they miss both the Big Story and New Story. Only a “universal mind” (unitive consciousness) can see beyond the limitations of discursive thought. This synthesis phenomenon continues to evolve human consciousness over deep time toward its next highest nodal point in self and consciousness (via elevated frequency vibrations) toward the metahuman state.

There are no “sides” to the whole of the created order, no two–ness. There is only one unified reality “appearing as” two separate realities to natural human perception and thought which has difficulty holding the tension of paired opposites or dual monads together. Their energies, radial and tangential, visible and invisible, not only belong together, the flow together continually awaiting mankind to evolve toward realizing its species as the trysting place for the conscious convergence and centration of same, where big things and small things funnel and merge toward an evolutionary apex as in a cone. The material and spiritual worlds don’t co-exist as ink does in a pen, or water in a jar, but are inseparably one and co-present to one another. Say, as gold is to a gold ring, or mahogany is to a mahogany table. In each instance the gold and the mahogany are one and undivided, undifferentiated from the very form in which they appear.

Basically, there are two ways of knowing that can only be joined by spiritual or unitive consciousness which brings them together as they already exist, and have existed since the moment of creation 13.5 billion years ago, independent of our divided perception of them. The first way of knowing involves the notion that consciousness (self or Spirit) is the fundamental basis of reality as we know it via direct and immediate experience. Said Spirit or consciousness modifies itself as mind (intellect/ego), emotions, feeling states, thoughts, and images. It further modifies itself as experiences of the body via generating sensations or sense perceptions (sound, sight, taste, touch, and smell. Such sensations further entangle the body with the external world. This way of knowing, called qualia, is basically a right-brain phenomenon which interprets its experience to the left-brain, when/if the left-brain allows it entry. Those who practice the spiritual disciplines know that immediate unmediated contact with each moment and experience is the clearest path to divine union in consciousness. Naked, undefended, and non-dual, “in the moment” presence has the best chance of encountering the Real Presence of things fundamentally in a felt-sense. Though there are many levels of resistance, denial, and/or avoidance mechanisms of the left-brain hemisphere, as most humans are left-brain dominant. Such is presented as a myth in the current scientific literature, which it is not. The simple things may be the most profound, but they are the hardest to teach because of this hemispheric brain imbalance, particularly on the male gender side. The extreme of the first way of knowing is Fundamentalism, the religion of faith, belief, unreason, and superstition.

The second way of knowing uses the same experience to create useful models (mental maps) out of them, preferring to call the ground of existence as quantum energy and information fields that modify as waves, particles, atoms, gravity, force fields, etc., called quanta, the smallest constituencies of matter that further modify themselves into the material world. So in the first model we have Spirit, mind, body, and the universe entangled in oneness, and in the other model we have quantum energy, quantum phenomena, atoms, molecules and the quantifiable material body and world. The two models of reality, direct experience and the mental models of that experience together can extend or expand our range of experiences and give them names. For example, on the electromagnetic spectrum of light, the human visible experience of same is limited to the narrow band of visible light frequencies (colors of the rainbow), whereas scientific models of the spectrum of light vibrations extend far above and below that visible portion to include radio and TV waves, microwaves, gamma waves, x-rays, etc. Both ways of knowing explore the same reality calling by it different names. Arguing them is senseless as both modalities and their respective methodologies together lend themselves to the broad bandwidth of the created order as it exists, and whose synthesis is key to attaining the next evolutionary iteration of the species from human to metahuman. The extreme of the second way of knowing is Scientific materialism, the religion of the material, rational, and analytical run amok. Teilhard’s ultra-science vision (spirit-science synthesis) is now complete, supported by the scientific findings in (1) Consciousness studies (revealing consciousness as the inner side of evolution: a tie-in with Teilhard’s notion moving toward centration and convergence in the interior life of the metahuman/Omega, (2) Quantum unity studies (via entanglement and non-locality: a tie-in with Teilhard’s notion that all things converge in Christic unity, (3) the Neuroscience studies of mysticism, via brain scans of meditators, monks, and in prayer that show unique activation patterns: reduced activity in the parietal lobe – dissolution of self-world boundaries – unity of brain rhythms, and ego quieting: a tie-in with Teilhard’s notions that experiences of union are anticipations of the Omega reality), (4) Energy–Information studies as Fundamental, whereby physics increasingly frames the universe in terms of fields, energy, and information rather than solid matter; spiritual systems like prana, qi, pneuma, ruach long speak of subtle life-energies animating matter; research into biofields, heart-brain coherence, and electromagnetic interactions in living systems hint that “spiritual energies” may be natural but not fully measurable: a direct tie-in and confirmation of Teilhard’s foundational principle that spirit-matter is one energy with dual poles, radial/tangential, outer matter/inner spirit), (5) Evolutionary Directionality and Cosmological Perspectives, via modern complexity science and self-organizing systems studies, and evolutionary biology are beginning to echo that life trends toward integration, cooperation, and higher order complexity, paralleling spiritual ideas of unity-in-diversity: all tie-in with Teilhard’s notions that the cosmos is on a trajectory toward higher complexity and integration), (6) Healing and Wholeness studies, via the healing effects of prayer, meditation, and compassion: tie-in with Teilhard’s notion that love is the ultimate unifying (salvific) energy driving evolution and convergence).

Completing Teilhard’s ultraphysics spirit–science vision and Cosmogenesis model, all of the above are consistent with the author’s synthesis book that ties it together even further, The Ambient Christ, and 4-part blog series on The Scientific Basis for Christogenesis, posted in August 2025 blog. The contents therein expand and complete the whole of Teilhard’s ideas that science and spirituality are a seamless, co-present, overlapping, generative energy and information fields operative everywhere in the universe. All point to material creation as a conscious quantum hologram generated by complex, interconnected (entangled) energy and information fields.

In his own work, the author identifies the nature or essence of Spirit (the metahuman self/nodal point), and the spirit–matter nexus (“sweet-spot”) between the invisible and invisible worlds as consiting of and associated with light energy (electromagnetism) generated by overlapping cross–rotational energy and information fields at all scales in creation. The energy utilized to create, sustain, and maintain the entire created order is identified as zero–point (light) energy, whose spinning plasma vortices create ionized plasma, a transmedium form of matter comprising 99.9% of the universe that crystallizes into a variety of forms as the architectural foundation of material reality at all scales in the cosmos. The author further posits, with scientific evidence, that there is only one power in the universe with many apps — physical, mental, and spiritual– a direct tie-in, addition to, and completion of Teilhard’s vision in our time. These findings reconcile several synthesis tensions, which at once (1) reveal the organic definition of the Cosmic Christ, (2) usher in the threshold of the Christogenic stage in Teilhard’s model, (3) provide the capstone on his cosmogenic model leading to Omega, (4) de–nounifies divinity, replacing the common linguistic practice of making God or Spirit a noun, (the bearded old man who sits on a regal throne somewhere in the heavens), shifting the depersonalized view of divinity to a panpsychic (omnipresent) Spirit/energy field that intimately creates, inhabits, and sustains all things, and whose presence is both immanent and transcendent to creation. Such is consistent with the panentheistic perspective of the Cosmic Christ, the Pauline epistles, and the view of the early church Fathers and Mothers.

The combined cosmogenic model of Teilhard (synthesis) and eco-spirituality of Thomas Berry (The Universe Story) could only envision a new Science of Humanity based on the physics of Spirit, a cosmotheology that reconciles empirical and religious views of the cosmos, thereby enlarging spiritualty to cosmic proportions. In his time, Teilhard often spoke of a “greater Christ” whose reach extends far beyond the narrow bandwidth of a sectarian belief system to all nations toward the evolution of a metahuman being. Advancing Teilhard’s work, Berry called for a “functional cosmology” that would meld psycho-spiritual-material realities toward restoring a degraded sacred biosphere that tells a future-looking New Story.

In his book The Ambient Christ, the 4-part blog series on The Scientific Basis for Christogenesis, and the updated Science and Spirituality map correlating scientific discoveries with spirituality’s parallel insights, the data points are now in for presenting a novel synthesis that tells a new story in a single paradigm. That synthesis paradigm offers a timely integral story that at once:

•  bridges the age-old divide between science and religion
• harmonizes with all fields of knowledge, including the arts
• reconciles differences, diversity, and individualism with a universal container in which smaller stories thrive, make sense, and interconnect
• invites an updated perspective on the biblical narrative and interfaith theology for our times
• affirms the substance of the entire universe, visible and invisible, existing on a continuum of conscious, overlapping, generative cross-rotating electromagnetic (light) energy and information fields. These fields spin-spiral ionized plasma from invisible vortices outside space-time that create and reveal matter as veiled Spirit (panentheism)
•  renders a scientifically plausible explanation of the bio-electrographic/holographic nature and consistency of matter and space-time (as ephemeral), differentiating it from the enduring (eternal) spirit-soul and its nexus in the interior life of humans
• completes, complements, and broadens the moral and juridical aspects of the Cosmic Christ’s message (redemption and judgement) by explaining Spirit’s embodied conscious presence in all things at all scales (panpsychicism)
• explains Teilhard’s current cosmogenic evolutionary stage (Christogenesis) and its hallmarks in spiritually awakened metahumans, while presenting a telescopic glimpse into how the eternal will be coming to the planet in the future via its consummating stage in Omega, and the Ecozoic Age
•  provides a numinous symbol (double phi-spiral) that is at once novel, archetypal, integrative, and conducive to a universal synthesis, further explaining how energy and consciousness condense, converge, and centrate into a variety of created forms, culminating in the metahuman
• most significantly, the author’s paradigm proposes that gravity and light (electromagnetism) are a double-phi spiral (paired-opposites) that work together in overlapping, generative cross-rotating energy and information fields at all scales of the cosmos. These spiraling vortices of ionized plasma are best manifest in nature’s sunflower seed arrangements (see bi-directional seed patterning in pic below)) the numinous icon proposed for a New Universe Story that images these spiraling vortex motifs throughout the cosmos, quark to quasar. These natural images provide additional visual evidence that completes Teilhard’s vision in an all-inclusive spirit-science synthesis. These spiraling vortices out-picture the transference of energy that flow in different directions — like the equinoxes — balancing the forces of ebb and flow, birth and death, light and darkness, body and soul (and all paired opposites) in a perpetual circuitry of evolution and evolution throughout the universe (further detailed in an upcoming blog).

The universe is not random drift, but a purposeful convergence of matter, life, and consciousness toward unity in the Cosmic or Universal Christ (Omega Point). Teilhard’s “convergence” is no longer theological poetry whose evidence is merely provisional, suggestive, or still inconclusive as in past decades. Rather, it is currently on a fast track moving from a proto–scientific hypothesis to an established scientific fact that the universe is wired for increasing unity in diversity, driven by consciousness and love as real forces (refer to comprehensive map of convergence at the top)

And me? I’m a light being and light worker, here telling fragments of a cosmic story in 4 parts, the universe become aware of itself, its orgin, and identity.
