Francie White replied to the topic Additional Powers of the Universe in the forum
Scientific Cosmogenesis Forum 2 months, 4 weeks agoI love this topic, and am tempted to “rush through” my answer since I am late to the game. But I won’t.
The suggestion to look for (scientific) powers within the inner workings of us humans, mirrored by the supposed external wonder of the cosmos is such a great idea.
A few things that come to mind have always inspired me, and then at CIIS i…[Read more]

The reason I stress Service-Learning is because I served as advisor for a community service club for 16 years. One program of many was an after school program with several initiatives for high school students teaching culture, language, art, music /songs, games to 3rd graders. It was called The CALM Club – Culture, A…[Read more]

John Mattox replied to the topic Autobiography in the forum
Scientific Cosmogenesis Forum 3 months agoI am a retired experimental astrophysicist
I grew up in Deadwood, SD, and then enrolled at the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, intending to major in physics. During my one year there, I was on the varsity wrestling team, and came across Eckankar, which lead me to stop out of college for five years to seriously pursue mysticism.

John Mattox replied to the topic Auto-Cosmology in the forum
Scientific Cosmogenesis Forum 3 months agoI’d like to suggest that another definition of autocosmology is, the cosmos writing about itself!
Here is an interesting example of autocosmology that I was involved in. In 1997, I was the lead author on a paper in the Astrophysical Journal (1997ApJ…476..692M) about a quasar in the blazar class named PKS 1622-297. We observed its gamma-ray flux…[Read more]
