The Emergent Universe Oratorio Performance

The Emergent Universe Oratorio (EUO) inaugurates the Albany Pro Musica season on The Climate Crisis, inviting audiences to embrace our shared belonging and inter-responsibility in creating conditions for transformation toward a flourishing future for all within the Web of Life..
The EUO is a musical, poetic composition for chorus, orchestra, and orator, of the Great Story of our vast evolving Universe. Now, in the most exciting and critical phase of its grand vision. Sam Guarnaccia, composer; Cameron Davis, visual artist; producer/co-librettist Paula Guarnaccia and project creative consultant John Cimino; with Albany Pro Musica; artistic director/conductor José Daniel Flores-Caraballo—are creating the definitive 90-minute concert production, to be performed at the Arthur Zankel Music Center, a rare concert venue in the NY Capital Region, that can support Emergent Universe Oratorio’s large chorus, orchestra, and intricate technological needs of its projected, animated set design.
The Albany Pro Musica performance of Sam Guarnaccia’s Emergent Universe Oratorio will be presented on Friday evening, July 18 at 7:30 pm EST, in the Zankel Music Hall, Skidmore College, in Saratoga Springs, New York. The performance will be accompanied by a digital projection by visual artist Cameron Davis.
Although you may want to attend in person, that may not be possible for you. Another option should you not be able to be at the concert is to stream it via the link provided below. Please also know that the concert also will be recorded and videotaped.
Either way, if you save the link you will have it on the 18th. Please let me know by the 17th if for some reason you can’t find it. We will be quite busy with the dress rehearsal and performance on the 18th so I might not be able to respond quickly.
