On that bench out by the sea

We can talk or just be quiet 

I’ll be sure to bring your tea

I’ll hold your hand 

Against my heart

We’ll both exhale

You’ll fill me in

On what you’ve seen

On what you’ve learned

On who you’ve been

I sure do miss you

On that bench out by the sea

I go there in the mornings 

To see what we have dreamed
