Introduction: In Parts 1-7, key principles, patterns, and historical innovators have been identified that together lend a deep time perspective on the global awakening of human consciousness, and with it the coming-of-age in complexity, coherence, and compassion under a novel Science of Humanity paradigm.

Abstract: In Part 8, the goal is to connect the parts to the whole in Omega via scientific evidence, empirically validating Teilhard’s ultra physics vision of convergence in a spirit-science synthesis and updated New Universe Story. Teilhard proposed that for consciousness to increase, the universe must be “centrogenic,” moving from a state of dispersion to a center-to-center union via love as energy (radial energy). This energy = Spirit = consciousness draws individual elements together into a higher union. New Story updates serve to map and nuance the human interiorization process in greater detail beyond psychogenesis and noogenesis via the sciences, philosophy, process theology, and when applicable, art. Part 8 begins that process with a review emphasizing three key proto-theorists (visionaries) of synthesis — Nikola Tesla, Teilhard, and the team of Carl Jung (psychology) and Wolfgang Pauli (physics) that support the novel taxonomy framework of Homo spiralis (0.0 – 4.0). It concludes by providing a curated list and layered diagram of interdisciplinary evidence on how the parts neatly nest in a holarchy, swaddled by a common universal element.

Part 7 ended with the observation that we are not human beings with potential to awaken spiritually, we are Homo spiralis, spiritual beings with temporary amnesia, whose conditioned consciousness via sense-bound experiences have repressed and all but forgotten same. Hence, we are not human beings seeking spiritual light, we are light beings seeking to kindle, discover, and remember our deepest origin, identity, and destination on the journey of personal and evolutionary history.

Historical Context: Tesla and the emergence of field-based integration

Within the historical development leading toward the Homo spiralis framework, Nikola Tesla represents a pivotal transitional figure. In the 1890’s Tesla first revealed light (electromagnetism) as the universal organizing and informational principle rather than merely a mechanical force. His introduction of alternating current (AC), resonant currents, and wireless transmission demonstrated that coherent electromagnetic fields could coordinate systems across distances, anticipating modern discoveries in biophotonics, and field level physiological integration. Tesla’s broader intuition that energy, light, and information form the underlying substrate of natural processes foreshadowed the contemporary scientific turn toward the coherence, complexity, and distributed informational control. Tesla’s contributions accelerated the dawning of the Industrial and Machine Age, and the current Information Age, making electromagnetism (light energy) the singular workhorse guiding the modern world of electric motors, cars, robotics, computers, cell phones, solar batteries, remote control, and nuclear fusion possible. His work supports the major premise of the Homo spiralis model, the new Science of Humanity, and New Universe story. That premise is, nothing is more natural than the spiritual, or more spiritual than the natural, each being seamlessly co-present to each other in the created order everywhere, and at all scales.

Along psychospiritual lines, Tesla introduced the notion of the brain as a receiver that resonates with a cosmic core “from which we obtain knowledge, strength, and inspiration,” in his day declaring that he had yet to penetrate into the secrets of this core, but was certain of its existence. Tesla was convinced that the study of non-physical phenomena would herald a new age where “science would make more progress in one decade than in the previous centuries of its existence.”

Tesla held over 300 patents worldwide during his lifetime, including his pioneering work in alternating current (AC) motors and generators, radio technology, wireless lighting, and the Tesla Coil. Like Teilhard’s ultra science vision, Jung-Pauli notions of dual-aspect monads, and Einstein’s theory of special relativity, Tesla’s notions were also prescient in a complementary way toward linking physics and metaphysics, inner/outer worlds, and resolving the hard problem of science (consciousness). Throughout his life he privately believed that “it seems as if the Creator himself electrically designed this planet,” and attributed his inventive visions to a source beyond himself.

Along with these mid-20th century contemporaries, Tesla occupies the middle ascent of the spiral, the liminal “sweet spot” between the terrestrial and celestial, visible and invisible worlds bridging radial and tangential energy, classical physics with the emerging sciences of integration that define the evolutionary trajectory of Homo spiralis.

As for liminality, a few words are in order about the threshold states between the noogenic and christogenic (spiritualization) stages of Teilhard’s cosmogenesis model. Being late-stage pregnant in noogenesis, and facing more large scale breakthroughs in consciousness, the lot of humanity is on the verge of experiencing transitional shifts and changes to higher frequency-level consciousness. Such in-between times are meant for self-reflection, choice, and potential growth. Liminality is often associated with wilderness experiences, where multiple realities simultaneously exist. At such times the old is becoming obsolete, but the new is not yet established. Its a time when the sure footing of foundational truths are shifting, creating angst and insecurity. Properly processed, those who emerge from personal and evolutionary transitional times are not quite the same as when they entered them. Such times can be uncertain, confusing, tense, and make most persons want to avoid or exit them quickly without holding their tensions toward metamorphosis, making life a series of rebirth and renewal process, not a one-time event. Transitional times involve multiple temptations to avoid, deny, or bypass them, versus seeing them as crucibles where persons enter more evolved levels of being with greater promises of awareness and liberation. A new, future-looking Spirit-Science of Humanity promises just that.

Historical timeline: Tesla in the Evolution Toward Homo Spiralis

Pre-scientific foundations (ancient –> 17th century)

Humanity begins recognizing patterns of order, harmony, and resonance in nature, where early intuitions of coherence later become formalized in physics and biology.

Classical Electromagnetism (18th-19th century)

Faraday and Maxwell establish that fields, not just particles, govern physical interactions. This marks the first scientific recognition that coherence and information can propagate through space without material contact.

Tesla’s era: The field becomes dynamic (late 19th-early 20th century) 

Tesla transfers electromagnetism (light energy) from a theoretical construct into a coherent, resonant, system-level phenomenon by:

~ inventing alternating current and resonant transformers

~ demonstrating wireless transmission and field coupling

Mid-20th Century: the rise of systems and information (1940’s – 1970’s)

Cybernetics, information theory, and complexity science formalize the idea that integration feedback drives organization, a conceptual expansion of Tesla’s field-based worldview.

Late 20th Century: Biological coherence emerges (1970’s – 2000’s) via discoveries in:

All of the above show that living systems use fields, voltage patterns, and coherence to regulate form and function. Here, Tesla’s intuitions find empirical grounding.

This era fulfills Tesla’s prediction that his work would be understood in the 21st century, as biology, physics, and technology converge on field-based, coherence-driven explanations. In Teilhard’s vision beyond the biological and psychogenesis stage, evolution is all about the convergence, interiorization, and coherence of energy, consciousness, and information fields.

In integration theory, coherence refers to the structural alignment and functional consistency between the different parts of a system, differing from cohesion in that coherence allows for diversity and tension, provided those elements are integrated into a meaningful whole, requisite for a cosmogenic evolutionary model.

Homo spiralis as emergent future

Tesla’s legacy becomes part of the evolutionary trajectory toward:

~ higher integration

~ field-level coordination

~ planetary coherence

~ informational unity

This is why Tesla stands as the transitional figure who first revealed the organizing power of fields, anticipating the scientific foundations of the Jung-Pauli hypothesis, Teilhard’s ultra physics (science of metaphysics), and Einstein’s special relativity theory connecting energy and light, and the scientific foundations of Homo spiralis (see Part 7).

The declining role of visionaries in western culture (Tesla, Teilhard, Jung-Pauli)

In terms of pivotal impact on human history in western culture, visionaries like those named above were not only transitional along evolutionary lines leading up to a spirit-science synthesis, but were becoming a dying breed whose global decline began post-19th century. Their decline was part of a binary-thinking trend that increasingly valued “head” over “heart,” quanta over qualia as the main access points toward cultural change and progress — scientistic, academic, economic, and political. The gap between the dreams and intuitions of visionaries corresponding to the dynamic of their people, times, and culture began to widen. That was particularly so regarding Tesla and Teilhard, relegated to another territory, figurative and literal, their futuristic visions as “outliers” came foreign to their contemporaries, and were ignored in their time.

A shift in a culture’s accent along these lines is heralded by historians as the end of that culture, the sign of the dynamic that informs and runs that culture. This separation of the visionaries from the people, and the separation of the individual from their folk destiny happens in a late culture, when the accent becomes economic and political. This is seen by viewing the architecture in cities and towns across history. In a medieval city the highest structure was always the cathedral, later replaced by the palace (political center) in 17th century Europe, currently replaced by the economic icons of high rise office buildings and apartment houses in major cities.  Spengler in The Decline of the West saw this, as western cultures now stand somewhere in late-stage Rome following their decline as empires last century. The beginning of the end is the utilitarian, politically organized and dominated state, an all-to-familiar and alarming trend in the U.S. Western culture is adrift for want of a unifying cosmology and guiding archetype. At this writing it is not only is devoid of a spiritual link to what it is doing, but has no visionaries of substance to interpret same to its misguided political and economic ways and policies headed for disaster.

In matters of depth, vision, and inspiration, intuition is to the ocean deep what intellect is to a wading pool. Likewise with imagination, the mediator between the spiritual and sense-bound life, selectively inattended to in empirically oriented, economically-driven cultures. In a universe of overlapping generative energy and information fields, can you imagine the three-dimensional image of yourself being generated from the inside out, maintained and tethered to a timeless, invisible quantum center-point? And can you picture that center point as an axis spin-spiraling your time-bound material periphery (form or body) from an invisible timeless template (archetype)? Envision yourself “streaming” from that invisible point of origin (spirit-light-consciousness) in a swirling spiral of light energy appearing in a condensed bodily form with visible mass vibrating at multiple frequencies, visible and invisible, simultaneously. Your image would appear accordingly like a reverse MRI, where the visible image of your whole person is cast by its Source, unfolding from an invisible blueprint abiding in the donut-hole center (zero-point vortex) of your distinctive resonating magnetic field; say, the way a conch or nautilus shell unscrolls from its tightly compacted, open-ended center point. And in your mind’s eye, can you then imagine your image projected into the realm of space-time visibility as a 3-D hologram?  Then you belong in that rare breed of visual thinkers like Tesla, Teilhard, Pauli-Jung, and Einstein, the latter of whom declared, “Imagination is everything. It’s the preview of life’s coming attractions.” At age 16, Einstein imagined riding alongside a beam of light, one of many “thought experiments” that lead to his theory of special relativity.

Tesla’s visionary discoveries fit into a scientific foundation for Homo spiralis perfectly. Though he was not a mystic like Teilhard, Tesla was a proto-theorist (visionary) of coherence and light energy (electromagnetism), whose intuitions anticipated several domains that modern science is only now formalizing, all of which strengthen the science in the Homo spiralis model, and updated New Universe Story. Tesla didn’t just invent alternating current; he revealed that oscillation, resonance, and field coupling are fundamental organizing principles in nature. This aligns directly with:

~ developmental bioelectricity (voltage patterns guiding form)

~ biofield physiology (heart-brain electromagnetic coupling)

~ information physics (energy fields as carriers of structured information)

Tesla becomes the historical bridge between electromagnetism (light) as engineering, and electromagnetism as an organizing principle of life. His “everything is the light” intuition of the 1890’s maps onto non-classical coherence, using light as a shorthand for:

In modern terms this corresponds to quantum biology findings, electromagnetic coherence in biological tissues, and photonic communication in cells (biophotonics). Tesla intuited what science can now verify light as both energy and information, which is exactly the dual-aspect logic the Homo spiralis model uses. His prediction that the 21st century would be his maps onto the rise of field-based science, foreseeing that the future would be dominated by:

Today, these appear in optogenetics, bioelectric regeneration, quantum sensors, photonic computing, neuromorphic engineering, quantum computers, wireless energy transfer, and field-based medical diagnostics. In other words, the 21st century is the century of coherence, fields, and information, Tesla’s conceptual home turf, and Teilhard’s vision of convergence.

Tracing the historical trajectory in science over the centuries thus far, what increasingly comes into sharper focus is a universe that is one world joined by a common universal element in overlapping energy and information fields of light (electromagnetism). And that in this one scientifically unified world, it appears that spirituality = consciousness = light energy, the ultra physics Tesla and Teilhard envisioned, and the higher-order physics humanity is just beginning to understand.

The significance of CMBR in Homo spiralis (Cosmic Microwave Background Radiation)

CMBR confirms that light preceded structure, as photons were the first free agents of the cosmos, aligning with the Homo spiralis view that light is the substrate of informational coherence, not just a medium of cosmic energy. While CMBR is not biological or conscious, it supports the Homo spiralis premise of creation as a field phenomenon. Meaning, creation and matter are not particle bound, reinforcing the idea that fields precede form, exactly how the proposed model treats consciousness and matter as field-integrated, with light as a unifying carrier. This notion is supported by the four empirical anchors for this novel framework delineated below. The scientific understanding of the created order consisting of overlapping generative energy and information fields gives credence to conceptualizing the God-of-the-Whole as a universal panpsychic field phenomenon, both transcendent and imminent, innermost and outermost, everywhere and in all things (consciousness = energy = information = Spirit).

Quantum physics has become a symbolic language for spiritual ideas because it:

~challenges materialism (reality isn’t made of solid stuff, but fluctuating fields and probabilities)

~ centers consciousness (the observer effect suggests mind and matter are entangled)

~ supports unity (entanglement and field theory imply deep interconnectedness)

~ allows emergence (complexity and coherence arise from invisible quantum substrates)

How These Fields Converge into Homo spiralis’ “Scientific Codex”

Weaving these together, a synthesis model evolves where coherence, integration, interiorization, and complexity all rise together, the scientific signature of Homo spiralis:

The Four Strongest Empirical Anchors for Homo Spiralis

1. Quantum coherence in biological systems.

Field: Quantum biology.

Why it matters: Demonstrates that living systems maintain non-classical coherence at functional scales. “Non-classical coherence” means its coherence depends on quantum physics rules, not classical physics rules. Classical systems lose coherence almost instantly due to noise, heat, and randomness. Non-classical coherence persists because the system uses quantum properties such as:

~ superposition

~ entanglement

~ spin coherence

~ delocalized excitations

These allow parts of a system to behave as a single unified whole, even when physically separated. This is why it’s called non-classical, because it defies classical physics expectations, enabling efficiency, sensitivity, and integration/synthesis. Non-classical coherence allows biological systems to:

~ sense magnetic fields with quantum precision

~ coordinate reactions across molecular distances (non-locally)

This makes it a powerful anchor for the Homo spiralis model, because it shows life harnessing deeper layers of coherence. This is the key scientific link, because non-classical coherence is the first rung of the spiral: the earliest emergence of unity in multiplicity at the quantum-biological interface, the liminal nexus (“sweet spot”) between the visible and invisible worlds, spirituality and science joined by a common element — light. This nexus is the scientific seed of the entire upward trajectory of the spiral.

2. Integrated Information & Network Neuroscience

Fields: Integrated Information Theory (IIT), Connectomics (study of the brain’s “wiring diagram”) focusing on both physical (structural) and functional connections between neurons.

Why it matters: Provides a quantitative link between integration and consciousness. Empirical anchors:

~ global neuronal workspace action during conscious states

~ small-world, scale-free architecture of the human connector

~ psychedelic research showing increased global connectivity

What it supports: Consciousness correlates with increasing global integration, matching the upward spiral of Homo spiralis, the hallmark humanity’s global awareness and awakening in an updating and ongoing noogenesis process.

3. Developmental Bioelectricity & Morphogenetic Fields

Why it matters: Shows that bioelectric patterns encode form, behavior, and regeneration

Why it matters: Establishes information as a physical quantity, and complexity as an evolutionary attractor.

Empirical anchors:

~ shows that information has energetic cost (Landauer’s principle)

~ dissipative structures are self-organizing into higher order

~ criticality and phase transitions in complex adaptive systems

~ scaling laws in biological networks

What it supports:

Evolution trends toward higher complexity + higher vibratory energy/frequency + higher integration + higher coherence, which is exactly the geometric substrate and software templates that animate, inform, converge, and interiorize in Homo spiralis.

In the 1950’s, Jung-Pauli proposed that the laws of physics could provide a map for the laws of  the interior life (psychology and spirituality) and/or be instrumental inferring the unknown laws of psychology and spirituality by looking at the parallel laws of  physics, and vice versa. The principle: As above so below, as within so without. Further, that an encounter with archetypes like the spiral motif can resonate with both inner and outer worlds simultaneously, because it is all one world (unus mundus) creating a sense of wonder, meaning, and unitive consciousness.

An awareness of this as an experience (qualia) is known as a synchronicity.

Empirical evidence increasingly confirms that the created order exists as continuous flow of the same energy manifest as complex, overlapping fields vibrating at different frequencies. Hence, dividing them into different disciplines is an illusion, a distortion via brain bias and the mind’s insistence on duality or separation consciousness. In unitive consciousness, there is no split or division between subject and object, spirit and matter, classical  and quantum physics, psyche (soul) and spirit, inner and outer worlds. Today, the empirical evidence strongly supports what global religionists have experienced, known, and asserted for millennia.

The Dual-Aspect Monad as Alternating Current

Both Teilhard and Tesla were astute proto-theorists pointing to a new Science of Humanity, a unified field theory telling a New Universe Story, now supported by empirical scientific evidence. In the 1890’s Tesla declared, “Everything is the light. If you want to discover the secrets of the universe, study energy, frequency, and vibration” (light energy). Several decades later Teilhard followed with, “matter is spirit moving slowly enough to be seen” and “science, philosophy, and religion are bound to converge as they draw nearer to the whole.” That day of evolutionary convergence, interiorization, coherence, and complexity consciousness has long since arrived.

Einstein was once asked how it felt to be the smartest man alive. He replied, “I don’t know, you’ll have to ask Nikola Tesla.” In his thirty-year pursuit of understanding the unified field or TOE (Theory of Everything), Einstein tried unsuccessfully to unify the gravitational force with the electromagnetic force in the cosmos (as dual-aspect monads). In a revolutionary but unheralded way, Tesla’s theoretical model unified and coupled those forces, intuiting that the electromagnetic force was the key to understanding the mysteries of creation. Tesla thought Einstein’s theory of relativity was unsubstantiated, a ruse filled with underlying error built on a mathematical structure of the universe that has no relation to its energy foundation. This magical phenomenon, the hybrid of electricity and magnetism operating together as dual-aspect monads, is found in frequency and amplitude constantly pulsating back and forth throughout the cosmos and nature. This Segways with Teilhard’s notions of radial and tangential energy, and nexus between the invisible and visible worlds.

Though it was never published or mathematically proved, the Dynamic Theory of Gravity was developed by Tesla as a unified field theory in 1938 at the age of 81, five years before his death. The theory explains the relation between gravity and electromagnetic force by unifying all the fundamental forces and particle responses into a single theoretical framework, as in the Homo spiralis model. Contrary to Einstein’s notions, Tesla thought that there is no gravitational force per se. Rather, objects merely free-fall toward the greatest energy at the center of things, a recursive pattern found in the physical sciences, behavioral science, and metaphysical worlds (religion). Tesla’s theory was not scientifically proven, and cannot be totally proven empirically as hypothesized by Pauli-Jung, because the relationship between qualia and quanta, matter and spirit, classical and quantum physics are dual-aspect monads (see Part 6 on “Monadology”).

Neitzche’s quote at the beginning of Part 6 (Monadology) was written with Tesla in mind, whose theory was largely ignored, even mocked by his scientific contemporaries. An eccentric visionary who projected himself into the future as THE scientist of the 21st century, his claim was that one hundred percent of the visible universe is electromagnetism (light energy), including gravity. The Homo spirals cosmogenic framework is a continuation and affirmation of Tesla’s notions as follows:

“Alternating current” is an apt description for the oneness/separateness choreography inside the Homo spirals model, because this model posits that light energy (electromagnetism) is both the flywheel and transforming element in personal development and cosmogenic evolution, the dynamo (power source) that runs the whole evolutionary process, and holds all of creation together in tensional integrity (tensegrity) throughout, Alpha to Omega.

Alternating current (AC), discovered by Tesla circa 1887, clarifies something essential about this novel framework — that unity and distinction aren’t opposites, they are oscillations (frequency vibrations) in a single energetic process. And the evidence for same is that AC alternates between two poles— yet the energy is one. In electrical AC, the current swings between positive and negative polarity, but the flow is continuous. The alternation is what creates usable power.

In Homo spiralis:

~ Separateness = the outward arc of the phi-spiral (double spiral)

~ Oneness = the inward arc of the phi-spiral

~ Dual-aspect monads require phi-spirals (double-spirals) to carry currents of energy that flow in opposite  directions, signifying the transfer of energy between Teilhard’s radial and tangential energy, software and hardware, spiritual and material, soul and body, Alpha and Omega, quantum and classical worlds.

And the alternation between them generates consciousness, identity, and evolution. The polarity is not a problem, its the engine.

Frequency of Oscillation Increases as the Spiral Evolves

In AC, higher frequency vibration (oscillation) means more cycles per second, and more refined, stable, and efficient energy transmission.

~ Homo spiralis, sapiens (1.0) oscillates slowly (long periods of separateness, brief flashes of unity in noogenesis)

~ Homo spiralis, sapiens/sapiens (2.0) oscillates more consciously (spiritual practice, introspection)

~ Homo spiralis, elektor (3.0) oscillates rapidly (non-dual insight become stable)

~ Homo spiralis, omega (4.0) reaches a state in the Pleroma where the oscillation is so rapid it appears as continuous unity

This is exactly how a rapidly alternating current can appear as steady light, appearing as brief flashes of light (insight) in Homo spiralis, as transformed light in Homo spirlis, elektor, and as transmuted/transfigured light in Homo spiralis, omega, all reflecting various degrees of frequency or oscillatory vibration, lower to higher on the electromagnetic spectrum of light.

Hence, unity becomes “visible” because the oscillation is too fast to perceive. AC output requires both poles to function, as unity needs distinction. A purely direct current (DC) is stable but limited, whereas AC is dynamic, generative, and capable of powering complex systems.

The spiral depends on the to-and-fro and “dance” between them, as with waltz partners, and avoids the pure oneness (no distinction) or separateness (no unity) DC current would afford. The spiral depends on the advance and transcend, oneness/separateness “dance” between them that AC current affords. This is why this model avoids both, neither collapsing into monism, or fragmenting into dualism. It’s a dual aspect monad dynamism, not a dualism, where the oneness oscillation doubles as an anchoring, stabilizing, inspiring, informing function, and a homing frequency to guide souls “home” toward their ultimate destination in personal and evolutionary history.

The spiral geometry is the waveform made visible

Nearly every mystical tradition describes the same oscillation choreography, a movement away from the Source, and a movement back toward it, a realization that both movements were expressions of one process. This is the same as:

~ the contemplation and action cycles/choreographies of devotional religious exercises

The “return to origins” in Omega is not a reversal, its the inward phase of the oscillation. So the oneness/separateness choreography behaves exactly as an alternating current:

~ two poles (unity and distinction)

~ one energy

~ oscillating (vibrating)

~ increasing in frequency

~ producing higher-order coherence

~ appearing as unity at the highest frequency

Homo spiralis, omega (4.0) is the state where the oscillation is so rapid that unity becomes the stable experiential field.

The model sits on a dual-aspect or neutral-monist (psychophysically neutral) monist base, meaning:

~ there is one underlying reality

~ it expresses itself as energy, physical structure, information, and conscious experience

~ evolution is the progressive integration of these two aspects

~ Homo spiralis is the human version of that synthesis/integration

The evolutionary arc as a scientific pattern

Each stage of Homo spirals corresponds to a measurable shift in:

~ radial <—> tangential energy transformations, fluctuations, and intensity

~ neural complexity

~ cognitive recursion

~ symbolic capacity

~ social cooperation

~ energetic efficiency

~ self modeling

~ greater degrees of unitive consciousness

Each stage in a spiral dynamics model begins at the singularity flowing from a zero-point (magnetic still-point), a generative energy and information vortex of the recursive spiral stage between itself, and the next staging spiral it gives rise to in development (or evolution).That zero-point (center point) between spirit and matter in physics, and/or the psychosocial stages in human development, are both energized and informed by that zero-point in the liminal space between:

~ the visible and invisible worlds

~ radial and tangential energy

~ quantum and classical physics

~ epigenetic stages in childhood development

~ spirit and soul (psyche)

~spirit and matter

That magnetic still-point is connected to a series of ascending or descending spirals where the end of one begins another, like the spiraling coils of a child’s Slinky toy. Each successive spiral begins in a cocoon stage that feels dark, restrictive, and solitary, an incubating “dark night of the soul” necessary for preparing persons for the next level of transformation in an advance and transcend choreography toward an unimaginable destination in Omega.

Being a spiral, the psycho-spiritual journey is from descending levels of self-consciousness into matter to the ascent back to Spirit or God-consciousness, from the One (Monad) back to the One (Monad) again via the many (dual-aspect monads) as in alternating current (AC) — moving from the highest to lowest vibratory frequency of uncreated light outside space-time, descending like a cascading waterfall in a broad bandwidth of vibrating frequencies. At the last, its energy returns toward origins in involution, like a yo-yo or mainspring of a clock, which upon reaching maximum extension, coils back to its original state of repose.

On the journey toward spiritual transformation, without the descending/ascending steps from uncreated light (radial energy) —> matter (tangential energy) —> to transfigured light on the homeward path, there is no return for the otherwise lost and wandering soul, which must follow the spiral pattern all the way back to its origin in the quantum field of Spirit. Alpha ends in Omega, first and last being the same juncture approached circuitously. Thus ends a spiraling journey of evolution (first half of life) and involution (second half of life). The end of the journey (in uncreated light) is found in the beginning, and conversely, via a series of spiraling evolutionary stages that transform, transfigure, and transmute.

Said Samuel Coleridge, “The common end of all narrative, nay of all poems, is to convey a series into a whole; to make those events, which in real or imagined history move in a straight line, assume to our understanding a circular motion — the snake with its tail in its mouth.” (Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Collected Letters, 4:545). Below is an image of same, known as an Ouroboros, an ancient symbol representing eternity.

This circuitous theme is present in classic literature, best illustrated in Coleridge’s The Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner, Homer’s two-fold epic of departure and return in the Iliad and the Odyssey, and Joseph Campbell’s The Hero’s Journey, describing the three-part transformational path of departure, initiation, return, cardinal aspects the spiritualization process (or hero’s journey).

This spiraling journey, Alpha to Omega, represents the God-of-the-Whole forever interiorizing in the human soul (psyche), consciousness, and evolutionary history over deep time. It’s the sacred saying “yes” to embedding (incarnating) in the physical universe and materiality, developing itself into multiple psychophysical, psychological, and psycho-spiritual forms like a photograph until fully formed (transfigured) in Omega.

The Homo spirals framework essentially proposes that human evolution is not just biological (hardware), it’s also informational and phenomenological (psychospiritual “software”). More than that, it begins as uncreated radial/light energy (monad/software) in the God-of-the-Whole, and ends its journey in space-time materiality/tangential energy, only to launch into uncreated light energy again on a a return trip as a fully transfigured light being in Omega (see chart at top of page, and Part 7). God = Light = consciousness = Spirit, the flywheel in the invisible wheelhouse of creation, in the zero-point singularity between worlds, and each emergent stage that creates, animates, re-creates, and renews all things at all scales, innermost and outermost.

The spiral captures increasing levels of integration (synthesis), increasing coherence, and increasing depth of self-awareness. This is exactly how complex adaptive systems work.

The Stages as testable hypotheses

The evolutionary Homo spirals cosmogram at the top of Part 7, can be expressed in scientific terms:

Homo spiralis, sapiens (1.0): a species with high symbolic but fragmented self-modeling

Homo Spiralis, sapiens/sapiens (2.0): a species capable of recursive self-reflection and meta-cognition in noogenesis

Homo spiralis, elektor(3.0): a species whose cognition is deeply integrated with energetic and informational fields — think predictive processing, embodied cognition, and extended mind theories, like the one at play in completing and revealing Teilhard’s vision of a more granular and complete (cosmogenic) spirit-science synthesis in this Christogenic series.

Homo spsiralis, omega (4.0): a species whose subjective and objective aspects are fully unified in experience, what philosophy calls non-dual awareness (unitive consciousness), and what science might describe as maximally integrated information.

This gives the new model, and New Universe Story both philosophical depth and scientific handles.

Why this matters in cosmogenesis

Homo spiralis offers something missing in current science— a way to describe consciousness as an evolutionary trajectory, not a binary on/off property. Here we see overlapping electromagnetic, generative energy and information fields at work in the geometric architecture of the universe at all scales, innermost and outermost where:

~ consciousness deepens

~ matter organizes

~ information integrates

~ awareness expands

~ the two aspects, spirit and matter, spiral together as in the DNA molecule

~ it has universal application across disciplines

This presents a coherent, interdisciplinary model that completes Teilhard’s vision, and tells the New Universe Story Thomas Berry dreamt of, and tasked our generation with.

The simplest way to say it

The Homo spiralis evolutionary model is a framework where mind and matter co-evolve through increasing informational integration. Aside from transforming itself into matter (E = MC/2) and back again, light energy carries information (as in fiber optics), the spiral being the geometric architecture of integration in physics and metaphysics (process theology) world-wide (see Part 6). The spiral is the signature, nay, the fingerprint of the cosmos found at all scales from the DNA molecule to the shape of the Milky Way Galaxy (see Christogenesis, Part 5).

This innovative is model is scientific in structure, philosophical in meaning, and symbolic in expression.

Light as symbolic and literal in the Homo spiralis model

In parts 5 and 6 of this series and throughout, we learned that light energy (electromagnetism) is the silent, all-purpose star of the show in creation, evolution, science, and world religions. And we learned by what means it transforms from uncreated (radial) to created (tangential) energy, or matter, emerging from the liminal space “sweet-spot” between the visible and invisible worlds from a singularity (zero-point vortex) in personal and deep time psycho-spiritual development and evolution.

Light as symbolic

Light represents clarity of awareness, unity of mind and matter, transparency of the self, compassion, coherence, insight, the dissolution of inner fragmentation — whole-parts (holons) or dual-aspect monads in a cosmic holarchy (science) = the God-of-the-Whole (religion). Same reality, different name.

Things equal to the same thing are equal to each other.

The term “light being’ refers to a human whose inner and outer aspects are fully integrated with no subject-object split in between; light as subjective experience, physical embodiment, meaning, and action.

Symbolic light is the language of transformation.

Light as literal

This doesn’t mean glowing like a lamp, save in Omega transfiguration, as it means a shift in the physical-energetic organization of the human system. Several scientific ideas point in this direction:

~ the brain and body emit measurable bio-photons, and are conductive throughout

~ neural and cardiac activity are fundamentally electromagnetic, the heart emitting five-times the measurable electromagnetic energy (fields) than the brain

~ coherence in biological systems increases efficiency and integration

~ consciousness correlates with highly ordered information flow

A person at the Omega stage would have extremely high neural integration, extremely low internal conflict, and extremely coherent energy patterns. To an observer this could appear as:

~ radiant

~ presence

~ luminosity

~ a sense of “lightness” or “brightness” in the person’s aura or field

This describes a supernatural state in the sense that this person’s ultra-evolved energy fields, vibrating at higher-order frequencies, are a natural consequence of maximal convergence, integration, interiorization, and spiritualization. If spirituality is the physics we’re just beginning to scratch the surface on, then nothing can be more natural than consciousness raised to its highest frequencies in and from the quantum (spirit) world.

In that sense, light is literal in the same way that a laser light is compared to a flashlight, a coherent system emits more ordered energy than a chaotic one.

Omega is coherence made visible.

How the two layers fit together

 Symbolic light = the inner experience of unity. Literal light = the outer expression of coherence from the “within of things” at the “heart of matter” that Teilhard intuited. This is exactly the dual-aspect structure this model has been exploring — one process, two expressions as in the Pauli-Jung dual-aspect monad hypothesis detailed in Part 6:

— mind-aspect: illumination, clarity, compassion

— matter-aspect: coherence, energy integration, biophotonic order

Summary on Light

In Omega, “light” is symbolic in meaning and literal in effect. It describes a human whose consciousness and physiology have become so integrated and unified that the system behaves like a coherent field, experienced inwardly as illumination and outwardly as material form.

In the 1900’s Tesla intuited that “everything is the light,” and Einstein scientifically proved it, setting the stage for light = spirit, and light and gravity being a dual-aspect monad. Uniting spirit and matter Teilhard adopted the spiral motif in the 1930’s-40’s, which we now know encodes information by being a geometry of recursion, integration, and transformation. In the 1950’s Jung and Pauli gave us the philosophical scaffolding, a unified reality expressing itself as psyche and physics. The spiral is not just a shape, but a process made visible. Each loop of the spiral builds on the previous one and mirrors how consciousness reflects on itself, how systems learn from prior states, and how meaning deepens through feedback. The spiral connects inner and outer, past and future, micro and macro. And Homo spiralis gives us the symbolic geometry of the phi-spiral (double-spiral), an evolution-involution arc which makes that scaffolding visible. The arc becomes more radiant in intensity with the advent of the christogenic stage, and with-it Homo spiralis, elektor (3.0) (light beings/workers), and Homo spiralis, omega (4.0) (totally transfigured light beings) in the Pleroma.

The ultra physics musings of Teilhard (synthesis), and the eco-theology outlook of Thomas Berry (New Universe Story), could only envision a new Science of Humanity based on the physics of spirit, one reconciling empirical and religious views of the cosmos, enlarging the Christ to cosmic proportions in a more global meta-physics. Advancing Teilhard’s work, Berry called for a “functional cosmology” that would meld psycho-spiritual-material realities toward restoring a desacralized and degraded biosphere. The time is now for developing a novel synthesis that tells that new story in a single paradigm.

Conclusion:

The Homo spiralis schematic proposed herein offers a timely synthesis story, one that:

~ bridges the age-old divide between science and religion joined by a common universal element

~  harmonizes with all other disciplines, including the arts

~ invites an updated perspective on interfaith theology by contextualizing them in a common energy, information field, and process theology model (see Part 6).

~  affirms the substance of the entire universe, visible and invisible, as existing on a continuum of light energy (electromagnetism), introducing matter as veiled spirit

~ renders a scientifically plausible explanation of the bio-electrographic nature and consistency of the spirit-soul holon, and its nexus in the interior life,

~ provides a numinous symbol (spiral) that is at once novel, archetypal, integrative, cohering, conductive, and conducive to a universal synthesis, and Science of Humanity

~beyond biological evolution (and noogenesis), anticipates the next stage(s) in psycho-spiritual evolution, providing a telescopic glimpse of how the God-of-the-Whole appears to be coming to us from the future in the Ecozoic Age.

Teilhard believed and actually foresaw a future ultra science vision where:

~ physics would eventually converge with metaphysics, correcting binary human thought

~ matter would reveal its interiority (software as its “within”)

~ consciousness would be recognized as an integral dimension of the cosmos

~ evolution would be understood as a rise in complexity and interiority

~ science would one day be able to demonstrates the spiritual nature of the human spirit-soul

This is the exact territory the spiral encompasses in aligning with Teilhard, but distinctive enough to match the precision of the Homo spiralis framework. This is the novel ultra physics framework that fulfills Teilhard’s vision via quantum theology, and the new Spirit-Science of Humanity.

The Homo spirais framework is the realization of Teilhard’s vision, in that:

~ physics and metaphysics do exist as converged (not divided) in overlapping energy fields

~ matter does reveal its interiority as consciousness, light energy that carries information

~ current research does reveal that consciousness appears to be foundational to all things

~ empirical research increasingly points to bio-complexity and the role of electromagnetic conductivity/interiority on the smallest of scales in humans

~ science does supply sufficient data pointing to the substance of all things appearing as and in overlapping generative energy and information fields of light

~ scientific studies give credence to a God-of-the-Whole who creates, sustains, gathers, and renews all things in and as Itself as Source via dual-aspect monads, and zero-point energy vortices. And in a manner consistent with global religious traditions, trans-religious interior processes and their wisdom literature.

The scientific evidence strongly suggests that the laws of physics, and the moral, ethical, and transformational laws and principles of the God-of-the-Whole, do not change. Rather, they expand, overlap and converge proportional to humanity’s evolving awareness and knowledge of their unity over deep time, coming together in unitive consciousness as one and undivided in a New Science of Humanity.
