There is a great deal to respond to in this important work, including to the many resources that are referenced, I have a question about the use of the word metahuman. Isn’t it preferable to write about who the human person is in their fullness as ordinary humans? Mystics have been understood to be ordinary humans who have entered into a distinct type of human consciousness. It is certainly important to explore how distinct forms of consciousness, so long valued, can be better understood and readily spoken of in the context of the new story. Isn’t there hope that people can gain more confidence that deepened levels of consciousness are possibilities for them? I think the new story does offer this.
Thank you for the years of study and thought that are behind this writing.
