Thomas Berry’s Earth Jurisprudence

In 2001 I was invited by Thomas Berry to attend a conference in Northern Virginia hosted by the London-based Gaia Foundation. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss Berry’s new concept of an Earth Jurisprudence. There were a dozen of us, in attendance, half lawyers, half people like myself working with indigenous communities around the world. This is the story.
